• What is Studio 28 Event Gallery?

    Studio 28 Event Gallery is a versatile event space that can be used for various types of events, including, showers, weddings, corporate events, private parties, memorial services, and creative use like podcast filming and photoshoots.

  • What is the capacity limit of Studio 28 Event Gallery?

    Our gallery room best used for larger events can accommodate up to 90 guests, whereas the studio room is perfect for intimate gatherings up to 25 guests.

  • Can I come see the space?

    Yes! We would be happy to schedule a 30-minute tour at no charge and answer any questions. Tours are available by appointment only Tuesday-Thursday. You may book a tour online under “Tour” or call Studio 28 at 586-257-4261.

  • How do I book a date?

    Bookings are made directly through Studio 28 Event Gallery by calling or sending us an email. Event date will be confirmed once a signed contract and deposit have been received.

  • Do you require a deposit?

    Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm your rental date. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your scheduled event date.

    An additional REFUNDABLE $300 security deposit will be required for all events. The deposit will be returned following your event if the space has been returned to its original state.

  • What form of payment do you accept?

    We accept cash, all major credit cards, Zelle, and Venmo.

  • How long do I have access to the venue on the day of my event?

    The gallery room includes 7 hours of exclusive access to the venue and the studio room includes 4 hours access.

  • When can we start setting up for our event?

    Your setup time starts at the time of your contracted rental time.

  • What is required for cleanup?

    All rentals, personal items, and anything else brought in for your event, must be removed from the space at the end of your contracted rental time. If you exceed the contracted rental time, a $125 fee per hour will be charged.

  • Are tables, chairs, and linen provided?

    Yes, the following tables and chairs are included in your rental fee.

    Chairs - 90 champagne Chivari chairs

    Tables - 60in round, 6ft rectangle, and 30in cocktail

    Linen is included in rental fee for the Gallery Room Decor Package and available for rent for an additional cost.

  • What is your vendor policy?

    We have an open vendor policy. We do ask that your vendors provide us with a copy of their general liability insurance for unforeseeable circumstances.

  • Is there parking available?

    Yes, we have ample self-parking in the plaza lot.

  • Can I hire a DJ?

    Of course! DJ’s should bring their own audio equipment. We kindly ask that music be at a reasonable volume.

  • Can I have alcohol?

    Yes. If you serve alcohol at your event, it is required to have a TIPS certified and insured bartender/bartending company. Alcohol may not be sold on Studio 28 Event Gallery’s premises. No BYOB allowed.

  • Are candles or other open flames permitted?

    We welcome candles, but they must be in a protective glass, such as a votive. Open flames are prohibited.

  • Do you allow smoking?

    We have a strict no smoking policy inside of Studio 28 Event Gallery. We reserve the right to shut down any event that does not abide by our smoking policy.

  • Are there limitations on decorations?

    The use of tape, tacks, nails, and glue to hang decorations is prohibited. All decorations must be placed and removed without leaving damage to the walls and flooring.

  • Is Studio 28 Event Gallery wheelchair accessible?

    Yes, we are ADA approved.

  • Am I responsible for any of the cleaning?

    All items brought in by you, vendors, or guests will need to be removed. The kitchenette and bar should be free of food and beverages, and wiped down. After all trash is gathered, the trash bags should be placed in the dumpster right outside the back door of the venue. Any spills should be cleaned up.
